Through out this program, I have learned more then I could have ever imagined. My dreams and goals have changed and reshaped through each course. My mind has been filled with ideas, facts and opinions. I have learned how I feel about education, biases and acceptance.
My hope is to keep learning and to advocate for others. My goal is to bring a strong anti-bias education to everyone regardless of race, class, ability or anything else. Everyone deserves the right to high quality education and my goal is to find a way to deliver it. How I do this may be an ever changing dream but the goal will always be the same.
This journey would not have been possible without the wonderful support of each and everyone of my classmates. Learning through others eyes always helps perspective grow. Thank you for your ideas, thoughts and encouragement. I hope this is not goodbye but the start of a connection that only grows.

ReplyDeleteAfter this program, I think that we all have made a change for the better. For the most part, we are now more knowledgeable in the world of anti-bias education. I also believe that knowing that anti-bias education prepares us for those that will be sitting in our classroom in the future.

I have thoroughly enjoyed reading your blogs and posts and it has really helped me to understand the different tools and strategies that we can use to celebrate diversity and multiculturalism.
