Hello fellow classmates!
I am excited to start yet another class. I am very excited to get to know some of you that I have already "met" better and learning more from you. I am also excited to met and learn from those I have not had as classmates before. So lets dive on in, shall we?
Part 1, Establishing Professional Contacts
So far, I have emailed many off the lists of contacts. So far no success, but I am still hopeful. With time changes and such, I am not to worried it has only been a few days. I am sure I will hear back from someone. But if not, I am glad there is always a back up option.
Part 2, Expanding Resources
After gazing and exploring all my options of websites to explore. My decision was easy, in past classes we have discussed the National Association of Child Care Resource & Referral Agencies. I have always wanted to know what it is about. So I signed up for the newsletter and can not wait to find out more.
I do not have any helpful hints other then, pick an organization you really want to know about it will make the assignment more fun! I have made the mistake in past classes of just picking to pick and it was no good!
Enjoy the rest of your week!
Excited to hear more ideas from you. Your posts are great. Good idea with picking something meaningful...I too have made that mistake. Best of luck!-Sarah Holtz
ReplyDeleteEveryone is so busy these days! I am hopeful too that my friend will back to me, but she rarely checks her email!
ReplyDeleteLook forward to reading your blog!

ReplyDeleteHi Hailey, you have had just about the same luck as I have with contacts. As of today; I still have not recieved an email from anyone. But I do believe this will be a very interesting and excited journey. And I do agree, that its good we have more than a few contact options offered. Looking forward to reading your future blog post.
